Honeydew melons these days are so sweet and usually have such beautiful shade of jade. We could not resist eating two but decided to save one for you. I thought of making a vase which I once saw somewhere. The fish is a Chinese symbol of plenty and abundance. I hope you like it.

Those beautifully-rendered fish are practically alive. This is the loveliest 'jade' vase I have ever seen (and tastiest!)
ReplyDeleteI would say the vase is beautiful! But... a melon vase??? Unbelievable! This is amazing.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have this as a centerpiece. You could really make some extra cash crafting things for parties. SO NICE
ReplyDeleteLove it! Did you eat it later?
ReplyDeleteSaying that this is an amazing piece of art would be stating the obvious! I did however learn what 'jade' looks like :) I love how you see the potential of art in everything around you.
